Tourist Tragedy in Kashmir Sparks India Pakistan Tensions
A couple of days ago, some tourists, including newly married couples and regular families, visited Kashmir to enjoy the scenic views and peaceful atmosphere. Little did they know, their trip would turn into a tragedy.
Reportedly, a group of terrorists, believed to have come from Pakistan, approached the visitors and asked whether they were Muslim or not. If the answers didn’t meet their expectations, they opened fire. In that horrifying incident, more than 20 people lost their lives.
Fast forward to two days ago, a conflict broke out between India and Pakistan as a result of this event. India is now determined to eliminate terrorism. Many believe that such attacks cannot happen without some level of support or influence from people in power within Pakistan, making it feel like the attack was pre-planned.
Currently, the situation is tense. A war-like scenario between the two neighboring countries is not good for anyone, not for the people of India, nor for the people of Pakistan. We want peace. We don’t want war. We don’t want to kill anyone without reason. All we ask is to be left in peace and allowed to live our lives without fear or disturbance.
